"I think social media is both the positive and the potential negative for nonprofits. I think the nonprofits that embrace social media and learn about it will do well and the one’s that ignore it do so at their own peril. The benefits of social media is that we are moving from a world of, as Seth Godin calls it, “interruption marketing to permission marketing”. A world where you pushed your message at people and now we are in a world where people don’t have to accept your messages."
